Community Information Session, Uralla October 2025
Thank you to everyone who attended the Uralla community information sessions on 29 October 2025, and to those who have shared feedback before and since. A key message we took away is that people want to help shape how engagement works as the project progresses.
We also heard clear concerns about potential clearing and construction impacts, particularly for native vegetation, wildlife, water use, traffic and gravel sourcing, as well as the cumulative impact of multiple projects across the New England Renewable Energy Zone. These issues, along with fire management, safety, and long-term responsibilities such as decommissioning and recycling, will be assessed in detail through the Environmental Impact Statement, including cumulative impact assessment in line with NSW guidelines.
